The room is quite fine but a bit run down. In the bathroom, a good hand-held shower, but no hot water in the basin. Nice toiletries. The Aircon is making noise. The pool area is nice, but the sunbeds and tables are very dirty. No one is wiping or cleaning them. The breakfast area they could make it nicer, cleaning the chairs and tables, putting on a table cloth, and a nice cushion on the chairs would make it comfortable to sit. Breakfast, food is good with choices. Prices for lunch/dinner we think are a bit too high. The photo of the price list, prices in the restaurant is old. The location of the hotel is nice with the lovely beach just outside.

After seven days at Sand Sea we wished we could have stayed longer, and can't wait to return. This is a great resort that is really close to Lamai, but somehow feels really isolated at the same time. Beautiful gardens, really great rooms (especially the pool villa where we stayed), and above all else the staff are amazing. The care and attention they provide to the guests is outstanding. Great location near center but in quiet place. Beach just for you. Pool, bar, breakfast. All was great, we did not miss anything. Room service was precize. And the kindest staff and all around the resort. Thank you very much!

Wow!!! What an amazing find in Lamai! Sand Sea Resort was just the perfect spot to rest & rewind! I stayed in one of their beach bungalows (1. row) and you really couldn't ask for a better spot! The bungalow was so comfy & cute and the view from the window unbeatable! Plus the resort is located in the quieter part of Lamai which was really nice! Attentive & friendly staff made my stay even better! Would highly recommend this place in Lamai & hope to be back one day!
