We were there over August long weekend; for a family birthday celebration. We had an accessible room. Everything was great. We did need a sturdy chair for my husband to sit on and that was provided. We had Denny's vouchers for our breakfasts. My 2 sons and their families stayed there as well. They were happy with the rooms and the kids loved the pool even if it was very small & the room was very steamy. Great location for our needs.

Normally don’t do these. My stay was very disappointing. I had to go to the front desk every second day to ask to have my room cleaned. There was a standing order to make the bed and change out the towels daily. This did not happen at all. I found it very pricey for what you get. The rooms are very small at a premium price. I find other hotels in the area are a lot better price and better rooms. Staff kept saying management was going to call. No one did. I stay I am lot of different hotels due to work. This was the biggest disappointment I ever had. Great reviews, for me they did not match up to what I received. Disappointed all round. Nice to have the restaurants but ate the 2 out of the 10 day stay I was there.

I've been traveling to Edmonton for about 2 years for work and I was looking for the best mix of value and quality for my hotel stays. I ended up landing on the Sandman Signature in the South. Prices are always reasonable and it's located close to many different restaurants. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Further to that, I've always received excellent service from the front desk staff. Nadia, Stepan and Aman have always exceeded expectations and been friendly, professional and prompt with all requests or questions.

Was flown in by my work and they graciously paid for me to stay here. They were very generous and selected the king signature suite. The room upon entering was very much like having my own small apartment. The kitchen, although no over was very well equipped with 4 serving plates/cutlery/cups - even a small dishwasher. The living area had a very comfortable couch, a chair plus a nice writing desk with a chair and a small ottoman. Very cozy. The bedroom is on the smaller side but plenty big enough to sleep in the king sized bed. The room also boasted a washer and dryer - this was super handy! The bathroom was a good size too, tub/shower combo - and wow I loved the shower. The pressure and the fact it felt like all of me got wet all at once. Even looking into buying a similar one for home. Lots of towels and amenities too. All in all the room was very comfortable and had most of the comforts of home. The only downside - which is big in my opinion - was the bed. It was not comfortable at all. It was extremely firm, despite it being advertised as pillow top. This was the only downfall of the room but that's the main part - luckily the shower helped!! There is plenty of parking on both sides of the hotel with 2 separate restaurants. Dennys and The Chop. Each one you can order room service from. The staff was very welcoming at the front desk and always looked up and greeted when I walked in. The hosiekeeping staff were always friendly when walking past and would replenish my amenities when needed. I would definately recommend staying here if you're looking to stay close to the airport or for shopping. It's in super close proximity of the south edmonton commons stores and 10 mins from the airport by cab.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Sandman. The hotel was very busy that weekend but we didn't hear very much noise the entire time. It was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. We ate at both Chop and Denny's while there and it was convenient having them there. The location is great right off the highway into Edmonton and close by malls, restaurants and stores. We'll return.
