Very nice hotel, in perfect location right in the city center. We got the room hours earlier than official check in and everybody was super nice. Only one small thing - we didn't have any heater in our room and was quite cold at night..

The guesthouse was very clean and close to touristic and hisrorical place. There are a lot of cafe, restaurant and souveniers around the guesthouse. The guesthouse’s employee was very kind. But the other people staying and using shared didn’t follow community rules. I woke up suddenly because of other people’s laugh and talk loudly. I advice the guesthouse to put a warning sing.

Save yourself the trouble and book a hotel. I booked this guesthouse through Expedia and when I arrived; the place was very difficult to find, there is no management or staff on site to help. The contact numbers they had were out of service and Expedia told me that there is an access code they have to email to me. Expedia refused to relocate my partner and I so we were stranded in Portugal with no accommodation. We gave the property 24 hours to respond and they did not, even on the second day where we could have still stayed. We lost a full 3 days of this booking and was forced to book a hotel. Property refuses to acknowledge this and has taken the money.

It doesn't have a reception, they give you a code to access the property, but we didn't have any problems. Correct cleaning and good size room. The problem is that it is a very old apartment and it does not have conditioned windows to isolate it from the outside, it is located on a street with a lot of noise. There is no isolation between one room and another, I couldn't sleep because I could hear even a simple conversation from the next room. It also does not have a hair dryer or television. If you can't afford a hotel, it's an alternative.
