Santika Hotel Batam exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I entered, the gracious staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The lobby's tasteful decor set the tone for a refined experience. The rooms were not only spacious and meticulously clean but also thoughtfully designed for both comfort and aesthetic appeal. What truly stood out was the impeccable service – the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless. From restaurant recommendations to prompt room service, their attention to detail was exceptional. The culinary offerings were a delight, with a diverse menu showcasing local and international flavors. The hotel's amenities, including a well-maintained pool and fitness center, provided a perfect balance of relaxation and recreation. Additionally, the central location made it convenient to explore the surrounding attractions. Overall, Santika Hotel Batam is more than just accommodation; it's an experience of hospitality at its finest. Clean room, staffs were polite, bf was good. But the room next to our room was noisy. Maybe bcos of the connecting door. They tried to open the door at 8p.m. The menu of room service is a little bit pricey. Gym area was small. And the view at 11 floor was nice. 👌

Stayed at this hotel for a week due to work. I was lucky I got a free room upgrade. Location is good, near ferry terminal and Mega Mall. Breakfast is nice too. The room I had have a smart TV where I could listen to music. Something that Santika can improve - I am not sure why but the shower / room sink in my room have a weird smell - every morning I request for 2 bottles of water, however they always take a super long time to deliver the bottles - on my last night of my stay, I was woken up by them due to a mistake. It was 5am in the morning and someone is pressing on my doorbell.

This review is based on facts. The hotel is quite new, just open last November in 2022. Like every new hotel, most of the hotel fixtures are looks brightly & shinny, still there are few things that can be improved although we need to also understand that this is a 3-star hotel and not a luxury one. Let's cut the chase and go down to the feedback: 1. It's good if the hotel can do periodic check on the room amenities like aircond. The room that we get has one with some blockage noise, it suggest needs to be serviced. Fortunately, the room service staff and engineering team fix this while we were out to explore the city. 2. The room walls seem thinly built, we can hear the water sound when someone taking a shower in the next room. 3. Breakfast is okay but can be better with more variety especially to cater non-Indonesian guests or travellers. 4. MySantika app seems not widely available in other countries AppStore. If Santika wants to target not only domestic travellers but also international, this app needs to be widely available. All in all we still think this hotel and Santika hotels group still a good value especially if they can maintain the hotels well.
