The hotel looks inviting from the outside at first glance. When you go to reception it smells nice and it is clean too. The hotel room was also clean and had modern furnishings. Hygiene was important. The room was small, but enough for a short trip. The only thing that was annoying was the ventilation in the bathroom as soon as the light was turned on, which was very loud. The guys at reception went out of their way to make sure you were happy and answered any questions you had. The Ortaköy district is generally recommended because the hotels are small, welcoming and familiar. At the same time, it is more remote from metropolises such as Sultan Ahmet and Hagia Sophia mosques, Galata Tower and bridge, etc., but still central, good shopping opportunities and good public transport. That's why I also recommend Santra Bosphorus Hotel and could imagine booking there again on my next short trip to Istanbul.
