Really disappointed in this hotel for so many reasons. I really regretted staying here and wish we had booked elsewhere. First of all, it’s VERY far (30-45 minute taxi ride) from the city and costs 2000-3000 for a one way ride. The rooms are super outdated and rustic. They look like they belong in a 1970s ski resort. But, we were willing to overlook all this because they had a pool. However, they allow public access to the pool so it was completely rammed with screaming children. Obviously they don’t care about their guests and anyone can use the pool. I really regret staying here and wished I had booked somewhere far more Central as it completely ruined my time in Almaty. Worst accommodation of our entire trip.

Very good value for price. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was good. Regarding the pool, it is not free for hotel guests. You have to pay 10€ per person and you enter from the seperate entrance. Inside the pool premises, the sauna is nice but the outside pool was occupied with countless screaming children as well with grown ups who were continuously jumping to the pool and causing water splashing onto your sunbeds. It is clearly stated that jumping is forbidden, but the guard did not do anything about it. In conclusion, the pool was like a big kindergarden and not a place for relaxation.

We spent almost 7 days here while in Almaty , this place is big far from the city but you will enjoy country life here with Mountain View, we loved the theme and ambience of the hotel . For me it was a good stay the only problem is food if you are vegetarian….
