When we checked in, we waited 40 minutes for us to be checked into the room, I fell asleep for the first time at the reception while I was waiting for this. This is ridiculous. The girl also asked me to pay for a copy of my passport for one sheet, it seems 3 ringgit, I'm shocked. I don't recommend this hotel. The rooms are very dirty, they have never been cleaned under the bed, there is so much dirt there that I was shocked. The room is very small, suitable for a child, and most likely he will get away with it. The air conditioner has probably never been cleaned either, it affects the quality of sleep and it blows directly on the bed, it's cold at night and it's impossible to regulate the temperature. There are garbage cans and homeless people under the windows, in the morning they shout at each other and you can hear it. A bathroom with good water pressure is the only plus. Next to our room there was a renovation and a persistent smell of paint. The reception and the first floor are very beautiful, the corridors too. Most likely, once it was a beautiful designer hotel, but then something went wrong, the owner probably changed and the manager doesn't care about the guests and service. I recommend changing the staff in general, they are not friendly and not rude, just people who perform a function. Of course, there are problems with housing in Kuala Lumpur, I have chosen many times and often the quality suffers. It is better to overpay than to live in such conditions for this money. The size of the room is just ridiculous, suitable for storing things than for sleeping.

I don't understand how it is possible that this hotel has such good reviews. In general according to our experience rooms are noisy and dirty. We booked 3 rooms. My first room (Superior Double with window) was much smaller compared to how it looked in the pictures. It has windows to the street. Windows were thin and I could hear all the cars and everything from the street even if the windows were closed. Bed was really uncomfortable and room wasn't 100% clean. Then I asked for changing room. They showed me a second room with a smaller window that didn't face the street, so it was quieter. When I opened the curtains, I saw that the window was broken. But it looks better and we decided to take it. Then man in reception (I think it was manager) offered us free upgrade to room without window but much bigger, nicer and with comfortable bed. We really appreciate it. But when someone closed the door in the hall or showered in the next room, it was really noisy. My brother-in-law's room was really dirty including bedding and it smells from smoking. Then he asked to change room and second room was ok. My friends room was also a little bit dirty and noisy. They could hear everything from neighbors rooms. Rooms in general are dirty and not in good condition. I consider as advantages good location and nice staff.

Staff were friendly and helpful, location was convenient but I would not stay here again. It's near petaling street but the traffic in the area is bad. The rooms with windows are by the road and there is no soundproofing so you hear traffic all day and night. Cleanliness of the rooms could be improved as well, it just isn't very well-maintained. There is copious mold in the bathroom and the linens and towels aren't very clean. It doesn't seem like the remote does anything to control the AC as well, it is just very cold. The duvet is thin.

First off, the staff were incredible! Each one of them were so friendly and welcoming! The room was about $35 CAD a night for 2 twin beds, cheaper than a hostel. Wet showers, but good shower pressure. The room smelled really badly like smoke, despite being in a smoke free room. It was overwhelming and gave me head aches each night. Depending on your sensitivity, be aware. Despite the smoke smell, I do not regret staying here as the location and staff were great. Just be prepared for a cheap nights stay, don’t have high expectations. You could also hear the people next to you each time they used the washroom.
