Sellada Apartments

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the smell from the bathroom drains were so bad we had to hold our breath when using the toilet and tiny bathroom! Unable to self cater either as the facilities aren’t good enough. Beware of the BBQ, the price is not the price and everything is extra! Also pay as you go as the owner makes up the final bill and only accepts cash!

Awful experience - would not recommend - AVOID Arrival: - Unfortunately, due to our flight being delayed, we arrived late (1:30am) and this seemed to in-convince host, although eventually someone greeted us in the dark, the next morning they made it clear it was they did not appreciate us arriving that late and made us feel bad. The owner, Diamatrus then pushed excursions on us straight away, making us feel that we should buy one for his in-connivance us our arrival (even though we were extremely tired from travelling and not able to have a shower due to it being freezing cold) When asked about the shower, they informed us this is the way it was, sometimes it's on and other times it's not. The Apartment : - Very dated and beyond basic, this was shocking for us, giving how much we made and in comparison, to others we saw whilst out there, not value for money at all When we arrived, the room was dirty, the floors not swept and we came across glass on floor - which happened by stepping on it - we informed the owners, who said they do not use hoovers, just pan and brush... - Unable to self-cater at the apartment: There were not enough utensils and having to cook from a very dated portable stove which didn’t look safe (see attached photos). We asked for more but we’re told no each time, so we stopped asking and went out and bought our own wine glasses etc. - The main bedroom - was two single beds put together, both as hard as the sone floor - gave us pins and needles most nights, there was also hairs on bedding -No pillow cases on 2 pillows and on one bed sheet there was a split in it -The electrics in general was very dodgy, wires hanging out (see attached) - TV did not work - Air con in one room (main bedroom), all other areas extremely hot - Tiny bathroom smelled of bad drains constantly, and the shower head you had to hold (see pictures attached) with a gross shower curtain - which looked had been there a while - Hit and miss of had hot water, never in the mornings which the water trickled out (no power) - Shutters did not shut property in living area or lock so lack of security. - Towels like sandpaper - as old as the property with stains on - Size of apartment was ok, but not enough beds or chairs for 4 people, - Fridge was big, but very loud and dated with rust - We were fortunate that our apartment was not poolside, due to the loud music that was played daily - the pool was cold
