Seoul Station R Guesthouse

One night. DOUBLe bed and a single bed for triple sharing. Spacious room 28-30 m2 with good ventilation. double windows (with insect netting + thick glass) 1. Less than 8 minutes to Seoul Station to catch your Arex or KTX..If u are coming from incheon airport, take exit 15. Walk towards the bus stop in front, you will see a traffic light. Cross the main road n walk towards the lane close to "Focal Point" cafe. Continue walking a gentle slope on a narrow lane (lots of vehicles here). Keep to your left. You will pass by a preschoolers daycare, a small neighbourhood park and a roadside cafe. Make a left turn at the cafe. 2. QUIET room. safe to walk out n return at night. Walking distance to a wide range of cafes n food choices and the hypermart Lotte Mall (located within the same compkex at the ktx) with a fantastic range of yogurt, fresh food, fruits, veg, salad, gimbak etc 3. Clean and comfortable room with a mini fridge, cooking stove, free use of simple cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. 4. Large towels n small towels. Towel Hangers and coat stand in the room. 5. Toaster, microwave, ironing board, filtered water dispenser outside shared areas. Reduce fod waste -- some guests may share some of their bread or fruits by leaving at the common areas when they leave or check out. 6. downside: (A) no lifts. narrow and steep steps to level 2. Not suitable for those with mobility issues or bulky luggage. (B) Sanitation - you are not allowed to flush the used toilet tissue into the toilet bowl. You hv to throw into a tiny bin next to the toilet bowl.. not a very clean or hygienic way to dispose your soiled tissue with human waste. Toilet piping is the old type so water pressure is weak for flushing. (C) SHOWER tap and sink faucet are connected. Yoy have to switch - to use only one at a time. Sometimes, i turned on the wrong one n got myself wet. (D) no fan in the room so u can only rely on the air-conditioning to cool the room. We did not use the air-con as we open the winows to let in the cool autumn air.

Stayed here for three weeks and was very comfortable. Staff are nice if there’s anything you need you can ask. Quiet neighbourhood and some nice places within walking distance. Also super close to Seoul station which was great for travelling around.
