This is the agency we use for my grandmother who has dementia. She is suppose to have 24/7 care but that rarely happens. Our family members are often scrambling to try and cover and be with her because the agency refuses to pay overtime when they are short staffed. Almost every other day there is an issue with staffing for my grandmother. Today, my mother had to cover for several hours because the aide that was willing to stay for a couple extra hours was denies the overtime by the agency. So much for 24/7. We have also had several terrible experiences with aids. a couple weeks ago, an aide left my grandmother alone and not even 2 minutes late she had fallen off the couch and hit her head. Luckily we had cameras and the next aide was there shortly after. If you can avoid this agency, please do.

My experience with Serene in the past six months has been terrible. We had one Aide for a year and a half 12 hour days seven days a week and we never had a problem. As of March 2021 Serene took the Aide Off my mother’s case. The Aides Are either a no-show or call out.

I work for this agency I really enjoy the work , especially since working in a nursing home kind of ruined nursing for me . You have 1 patient and are able to spend the time & care you need with them .

This is the best agency I have worked for, and I've worked for more than 20 agencies in my 9 yrs of nursing. Other agencies always advertise that they have cases, but when you apply they hardly call you with cases. Serene home care is consistently giving you work, whether its permanent or fill in cases. Every day I get emails of cases from Serene. You'll Definitely get work with Serene Home Care!
