I decided to check out Zay Zaman because of the reviews on their falafels. I was definitely not disappointed with their Falafel wrap. My partner enjoyed the cheese manakeesh. She appreciated the nice amount of cheese and the freshness. The owners were very friendly and gave us good service. We are so delighted to have found this place and recommend it highly. Looking forward to being back for another taste.

I have been to Zay Zaman multiple times and have never been let down by the quality of the service or the food. The food is fresh and prepared carefully each time. The service is genuine and friendly. It is a pleasure coming to support the restaurant and a pleasure to eat here as well. The portions are excellent and it is the best shawarma I have had in and outside KW.

This shawarma salad was actually really good What I enjoyed the most was everything was home made in house from hummus to pickled turnip to there garlic and hot sauce that's what I like to see from these small shawarma places...I will definitely come again and try something else ....good job guys!

Zay Zaman A Review by Hassan Hawash Whenever I go grocery shopping over at Ammar’s or get a haircut at Othman’s, I look forward to a shawarma at Zay Zaman’s. It’s a real treat, a snack cum meal, a good fill. The Middle East’s answer to fast food is not only flavourful, but healthy as well and oh do the good people over at Zaman do it so well. Having indulged in shawarmas in many a restaurant in the Middle East and a few here in Kitchener, Toronto and Winnipeg, I’ve come to appreciate the experience and effort that is a Zaman shawarma. I love it that the always fresh pita bread is dabbed generously with a touch of lemon infused garlic sauce, a healthy helping of pickles and then a veritable smorgasbord of healthy fixings to choose from before the crispy chicken is shaved per order off the rotisserie spit. Copious amounts of the shaved chicken are then placed in the pita pockets. After that, for added taste Yussef gave my shawarmas a brush up against behind the spit along the heat and then on the grill for good measure for a few minutes. This process turns out a great mouthwatering delicious zesty full on chicken shawarma wrap. To literally wrap up, you get great bang for your buck at Zaman’s where you’ll get the true taste you are supposed to experience. We keep coming back for more. Irrestible!!!
