Big lobby, clean and not crowded. Room size is big and clean, nice design with big bathroom. Very clean. Gym facilities is excellent with indoor pool. There are 3 restaurants; cafe, Italian docg, and Chinese. I had chef recommended pizza and that was the worst pizza I have ever had. It costs like 125RMB. Pizza was folded into a star shape. Pizza crust was like frozen pizza. Wine was served not in standard 125Ml or 150Ml. It’s much lesser. When I talked to the manager (gentlemen) he could not understand. Regretted my visit to DOCG.

We had a good experience with the front desk staff and the concierge team. Special shout-out to Cindy from the service team who helped me to mail my lost item to my home m. We really value the efficient communication and services from Cindy and the housekeeping department. Thank you Marriott Kangqiao!

The room was very elegant and clean. Good breakfast. Location good for disney visitors but nothing much around the area, far from city center.

Rooms: The room was very generously sized and modern. However, the AC was very loud and not efficient. I couldn’t get my room below 22C with the AC running on max settings. Maybe because I was on the top floor - but I’m not sure. That shouldn’t be the case. Also, cleanliness was not perfect - which I would expect in such a hotel. Facilities: Excellent. Restaurants and gym are just excellent. Staff: Very friendly, well trained and efficient. Only exception was the cleaning staff. They have to be more thorough. Location: The location is excellent if you have some business in the Shanghai medical or the tourism zone. If you have a car, you can easily drive into Shanghai city center avoiding the most serious traffic jams (taxi drivers will usually take you on the long route though...)
