We came to the restaurant for lunch and were not staying in the hotel. They offered a buffet lunch for 120 soles each. We hesitated at the price but decided to give it a go. 5 star hotel... Must be good right? Wrong! Out of about 10 different dishes, only the ceviche was good enough to eat. All the meat dishes were dry. Fish, beef, duck, pork. Terrible. All the other dishes were also very average and not nice. We thought Peru was known for its culinary excellence... We told the waiter we were only going to pay for one of the two dishes since we hardly even ate one meal. He started contesting and arguing and saying that he checked on us when he didn't. In the end the manager agreed but wasn't very agreeable. Would not recommend the restaurant here at all

A hotel that truly goes above and beyond to make sure that it’s guests are well taken care of. As a titanium, Elite Bonvoy member who has stayed over 200 nights this year in various hotels across the US and internationally I can confidently say that the Sheraton Lima historic center is by far one of the best hotels in terms of quality and service. Truly, a world-class hotel. Thank you to the management team and thank you one of the kindest concierge teams I’ve dealt with. Juan Carlo took care of everything I needed from the second I stepped foot outside of the Taxi.

Beautiful lounge and main floor. The staff is excellent, very good service. The rooms, however, are very dated. They have textured walls typical of the 1970's and very poor lighting. It's overdue for an upgrade. The rooms are clean and the room service is excellent.

Very disappointed! We book our rooms with so much in advance and let them know we will need and early check in due to the schedule of arriving, they gave us a confirmation number of course and told us how much it will be for the nights we will be staying and also they gave us the price of the early check in, we put out card down for all that, The date comes, we arrived and try to check in and big surprise, they could not give us our rooms, the receptionist Adriana told us oh you did not pay to confirm them so we do not have it! I told her we gave them a card when we book our room, she says that is not my department so I do not know! I can not help you! We told her we have our day plan and we have to start somehow, she was very rude not emphatic at all and too much attitude! I have never see a bell boy helping more than a receptionist, he was so very nice and try to help us as much as he could, talk to the department who took out reservation….. after we left for 3 hours he helped us to check in because once again this lady Adriana did not want to even talk to us! She was so upset we finally got our room! The poor bell boy even gave us one key for our room that of course was not active but at least we was trying. Never coming back for sure, that lady made us start our trip with a bitter taste, you will think that since is a big company they will keep their “same service at all their properties” but actually we had the worst experience. People need to see the big picture, Sheraton is not what it was many years ago and if they can not keep it open they will close their doors and everyone will lost their jobs so work as a team and realize your job is very important.
