Do not stay here! My husband and I only chose this hotel because it seemed close to Shin-Osaka Station (we took day trips to Kyoto and Kobe) and it said it offered laundry in the description. The Osaka Metro subway entrance is a 10 minute walk to Shin-Osaka Station, whereas the Shinkansen entrance is closer to a 15 minute walk. The coin laundry machines aren't even in the lobby, they are OUTSIDE of the hotel - in the parking lot. You have to go out of your way to do laundry. The room was small even for Japanese standards and the bathroom even smaller. I'm only 5'4" but my knees were 6 inches from the bathroom wall when sitting on the toilet lol. The shower is ridiculously tiny, I kept bumping my elbows against the wall. We were only given a single key to access the room and it controls most of the electricity in the room. That means when someone leaves the room to go to the laundry, the other person has to sit in the dark (well, I guess you can have a bit of the entryway light or bathroom light). No real security measures in place other than waving the keychain to the front desk on your way into the hotel. Other hotels require the guest to scan their key card in the elevator. The entire hotel smelled of mildew and the room felt dirty. The only benefit was that the air conditioner was working perfectly (important during the hot, humid summmer).

Just checked out of this hotel. The hotel staff didn’t provide any form of aid during the earthquake and asked me to find my own taxi (which was very difficult in the midst of an earthquake) myself. Poor service. The room is also very small (I paid for the most expensive room by the way) and you can hardly walk in the place. The bathroom is also not well maintained. Most importantly, I wish to launch a scathing attack on the staffs who are so unhelpful in both times of need and other times. If you only speak English, steer clear of this hotel as they cannot communicate well.
