We spent 5 nights in one of the family bungalows. It was bright, well equipped and nicely cleaned every day. Good prices on the mini bar too. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of options. My kids (7,9) loved the pools. We enjoyed the massages down the beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We visited many resorts and this was one of our family favourites.

Perfect for what we were looking for: Chilled, quiet, beautiful sunsets and able to walk out of the bungalow onto the beach and straight for a Morning swim. Restaurant has standard decent food open all day. Beach bungalows are nice. Rm 111 and 110 seem slightly newer and bigger. Mopeds for hire if needed but you can walk along the beach to Kaibae beach if you don’t mind getting your knees a little wet for 10m or so around the headland.

There are two main drawbacks: 1. Location - very remote and as on every island in Thailand - taxi drivers are hags. You can go to the city after like 5 pm through the beach - it's mostly beach walk, but coming back without a taxi is a problem. The main road is not for walking (seriously). 2. Internet is configured (is it really configured though?) using some overcomplicated login with no wpa2 or something similar. This is causing tons of issues with DHCP I think and in general is a little silly way of securing wifi imho. Especially when you don't have any eula to accept etc. Apart from that: 1. Good breakfast (buffet) 2. Nice rooms 3. Great pools (2) 4. Sandy beach (even during high tide), which neighbouring Sylvan resort does not have. In general it is a really cool place. But if you cannot rent a scooter for whatever reason the location will be a pain.
