Amazing place, amazing owners. We would have loved to stayed more than just one night but we were only passing through the area. The Homestay is just a 5 min drive from Pidurangala away. The better and cheaper alternative to Lion's Rock. Don't waste 39 USD on Lion's Rock! We had stayed in 8 accomodations throughout Sri Lanka so far and this was definitely the best one. The room was super clean. Not just clean but also smelling very fresh. The same applied to the bathroom: spacious, very clean, just really nice to be in. The AC was working perfectly and the bed (super comfortable) hat a moskito net you could use. WiFi was pretty decent, too! We also had a super delicious dinner at the homestay, so full recommendation on that. Thank you for the truly great stay and good tips for our further journey.

Danus home stay has I believe two rooms, both of which are lovely equipped with AC, hot water and a nice bathroom. The curry we had was also delicious, so much so we had curry for lunch and dinner. I really recommend this place especially if you plan on climbing the smaller rock.

Very nice, cozy place close to the little lion's rock. Danu is easy going and very reachable. He was checking in on us if we were save when we were arriving late!
