Room very basic. Shower slow and Luke warm. Cockroach on my bed! Killed it! TV wouldn't turn off unless you unplugged. Sketchy security deposit policy. $100 up for grabs. Dim lit parking lot.

I've said in dozen of Motel 6's across the nation. This has got to be one of my favorite ones to date. I stayed for 5 nights. Room: 1st floor, front facing side. A large spacious. Room was clean, I didn't encounter insects. Air conditioner works but do not expect it to be ice cold. The maximum setting is 66 degrees and you'll be comfortable, but some ppl complain about the room not being "cold". My AC was set to 70 degrees Fan was high and I was comfortable. Bathroom: Bathroom was ok sized. Not the smallest for Motel 6 but not a large bathroom. Water temperature was hot, i let it run for a few minutes and take my showers in the evening when their is less demand. Noise: Right next to airport and FL 826 hwy, could see planes landing....but didn't hear them land. Also wasn't disturbed by traffic. So they've done something for noise management. The biggest source of disruptive noise was actually the other guests in the hallway and their loud conversations and laughter. Might want to use a white noise app on your phone for that. I didn't have a problem when I cancelled out the other guests noise. Service/Staff: I've got to say the staff was very friendly and helpful. Like unexpectedly pleasant. I received daily service if needed and my towels were clean so didn't have issues. Cost: It's a budget motel so you'll get reasonable rates, however will caution you that rates will increase on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This is typical in industry to no surprises. There is a $100 incidental/deposit fee so be forewarned. It's retuned to you upon checkout. Definitely a place I would return to if coming to Miami in the future.

Clean room but weren't offered a mini fridge when we requested. Good coffee area and location was perfect but id suggest anyone to bring a cooler if store cold items. Price was right for location and services nearby.

Made reservations for October 28th. CALLED hotel directly and advised them I would not arrive about 8pm that night. Upon arrival, was told my credit card was charged at 3pm before I got to Miami. Clerk said it is company policy to charge at 3. Clerk changed story when Motel 6 Customer Service called hotel. Said he was not made aware of my call from first shift. Among other things, light fixture in bathroom had red substance on it and window had no lock on it. When guy looked at light fixture, he said it was cleaning spray that got inside fixture. DID NOT CLEAN OR REPLACE. He came back later with a stick to put in window sill. I will not say absurd thing he said about windows at hotel. Giving 1 star because 0 stars no option. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN!!
