Silavadee Pool Spa Resort

We've returned to this hotel twice in a year, and both times, we've had a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and their behavior feels exceptionally personal. Having stayed in several hotels, Silavadee Resort truly stands out in every aspect. They consider every detail, providing super-friendly and highly personalized hospitality. You're truly pampered, and there's no 'no' in this hotel – everything can be arranged. The service is of an exceptional standard, surpassing many other hotels. The breakfast is very extensive, especially the additional items available for order from the menu, which are of unparalleled quality and taste! The various restaurants offer stunning views of the sea with a panoramic view of both sunset and sunrise. Once again, the staff is highly professional, personable, and skilled. Special thanks to Aonny, Manee (best Thai cuisine chef), chef Ramon, Ploy, all the front office/buggy staff, the general manager, and all the hotel staff! We'll definitely be back.

We stayed in December 2023 for our 10 year anniversary and Christmas so we decided to book Villa 4 ocean front. The whole experience was divine from complimentary pick up from our other resort to drop off at the airport on our last day that evening. Staff were very welcoming and lovely on arrival, they took us to our villa in the buggy and showed us all through the place explaining everything. We had welcome bottle of sparkling and treats for our anniversary which was a lovely touch by the resort. The villa was breathtaking, much larger than anticipated I hadn't looked too much at the socials but from the site there isn't many photos or hard to gauge size. The bedroom was huge, leading into a powder room with desk and mirror / mini bar ( certain drink items were all free apart from alcohol and labelled water ) / wardrobe then leading into a huge bathroom with the terrazzo bathtub. The bed was like a cloud from heaven. We had the best sleep ever. The turndown service in the afternoon was so special as well, they shut the curtains, left our slippers and water next to the bed as well as a cookies. They use scented melts in the bathrooms and wow they smelt so good. Outdoor deck was large in front of our bedroom with table and chairs. The sitting room / second villa was also huge in floor space with another bathroom which wasn't expected. The pool was the highlight, spa jets and deep with uninterrupted view of the ocean/ beach to the left. Very private, only maybe one villa up and behind and the one to the left could see the pool area. The interior style and architecture was beautiful, tying in with nature and the dark theme in the bathrooms giving a relaxing calming feel. We copped some very wild weather on our 3 night stay over xmas but it is windy season on the island, next time if I was paying that amount of money I would love to come when the ocean is calm and the sun is out to enjoy the pool and deck. Nothing can be done about weather and the resort is on the edge of a cliff so its fully exposed to the elements. Remember when booking certain seasons. Breakfast included was beautiful! lovely barista coffee, sparkling wine, juicing machine, pastries, fresh breads, noodle station, deli meats, fruits, all organic produce from their farm, al la carte with great presentation to order etc. list goes on.I really liked you could message reception on a hotel App, which is a great communication method, but also the phone was there for use. Guests complaining about the service, I think its a little unwarranted. They were super attentive to our needs, even when we asked for lots of ice on xmas day for our beers, they literally brought down 3-4 coolers of ice for us and set it all up. Nothing was an issue for them. The staff were super respectful of privacy, only rang the door bell and would wait at the villa gate to be allowed inside. Everyone also complaining about staff and English standards its so tiring. Use google translate... everyone has a brand new smart phone who Is booking 5 star resorts. You are visiting an ISLAND in a developing country. Get over yourself, learn to navigate cultural difference/language barriers or here is an idea learn Thai. I had no issues and if the staff seemed unable to understand I simply used google translate. Things I believe need a bit of love : - The deck needs to be re sealed /oiled purely for aesthetic reasons ( understandable for it to wear with harsh conditions ) - Timing on room service food ( took over an hour on one occasion ). I cant speak for the other rooms/villas but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa 4 and thought the resort and staff were all overall amazing. We would stay here again!
