First impression, parking… looks like the start of some random hiking trail. Almost dodgy feeling. Not inviting at all. Inside there is a very obvious lack of attention to detail. Cleanliness not really “spa like”. The pool creepy makes one hell of a noise every few minutes so there is no real relaxation. Our appointment was at least 25 minutes late and so was basically all the other guests from what I could hear. I wouldn’t take someone there for a treat at all. It can be so nice but the owners will have to step up their game a bit unless the very average experience is what they are going for, then this is not the area for it.

It's a very beautiful cosy romantic place that I can go as many times as I can. The place is very neat though in the forest. Their prices on food are so affordable, I like their drunken fish dish. I just fell in love with the place on my first visit... There was this chubby African guy who welcomed us with such friendliness, pity I forgot his name.

Great spot, but let down - again - by very poor service. Tuesday dinner, booked in advance. We waited more than an hour for our food and, when it arrived, parts ofmy chicken were uncooked. The table next to us said they had been waiting almost 1.5 hours. The manager blamed it on a big table that got their order in first, but that is unacceptable: it means they don't have the capacity to serve all the tables.

I came here on two occasions- for a couples connect massage and recently for a summer feet session. I am irritated with this place because I feel they don’t respect people’s time and they are very disorganized. I was actually busy with something at home and rushed to make it in time for my appointment, only to wait 30min before my appointment started. If they were running late they could have phoned me to say so which would have helped me a lot to finish what I was doing and not rush to get to my appointment on time. What was unprofessional is that nobody bothered to tell me they were running late- they just sit you down and make you wait without any explanation. Communication is always a great idea and definitely helps to manage people’s expectations. I saw that other people who came after me were also angry that their appointments were running late and they also complained about waiting 30min already. When it came to paying- I had to remind the receptionist that my package comes with a voucher for the restaurant. She first disagreed then realized her mistake. It’s just really annoying when you buy a special and you have to fight to get the “special”. Disorganized- why is this necessary? I also struggled to get my appointment booked on WhatsApp- the person on the other side isn’t very attentive. I eventually phoned in to book. All of these things I can still forgive BUT the hygiene I will not! The ladies toilet has no toilet roll holder and the toilet paper rests on both the toilet brush and the dustbin. This is absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe that a woman owns this establishment and will allow that another woman will wipe her vagina with a toilet roll that has been sitting on a bacteria infested surface. You can buy those roll holders from builders warehouse or gelmar. No need to subject us to bacterial vaginosis because you are too stingy to buy a R250 rail. The treatments are like what I would Receive at adore day spa or the skin firm so in other words- you are not exceptional and cannot get away with being unhygienic, unprofessional and tardy.
