The heater in the room was operating at very low temperature. We had to turn on the air conditioner. The sound of the air conditioner was so loud we couldn't sleep. Because of the opening under the room door, cold air was coming in and that's why the room was very cold. Even though we closed the balcony door in the same way, the bottom part did not fit properly, so the room became freezing. The hair dryer was only working on low setting. Breakfast was good enough. Other than that, it was a terrible experience.

Honestly, what the hell do you people want and expect more for this price and the location of this place? Sure, it's not the most elite hotel in the world, but everything is decently clean and neat, the breakfast is modest but fine, rooms small and older but everything works and is pretty clean, unless you're too sensitive and can't handle some dust here and there.. the gentleman with a beard at the reception is very nice and kind, the location is also wonderful and every attraction in Budapest is easily reachable by foot or by a metro that is just about 100 meters outside of the hotel. For this price would recommend, ignore the crybabies in other reviews.

Honestly, I disliked this place. I felt like leaving my stuff in the bedroom was just unsafe. The breakfast has no gluten-free or lactose-free options. The ground-floor bedrooms had bad wifi too. The staff barely speaks English; only the receptionists do. The receptionists are friendly and polite.
