This was for a different apartment managed by SingularStays but this review is about the company. The behavior of the company and its staff were terrible. They are very responsive when booking, but after they have your money, it is difficult to get a response. They required a 300 euro deposit for our 7-week Valencia stay in Fall 2022. They promised to return the funds within 30 days of checkout, but we never received the money back. When we reached out (they use WhatsApp for customer service but often don't respond), it took forever (including numerous calls to the office) to get a response. They agreed the deposit was due to me and asked for wiring instructions, which I provided. Then nothing. No one responds to messages or email and on the rare occasion someone answers the telephone, they say it will be passed on to "administration" (whoever that is). Terrible company to do business with. Six months later and I still do not have my deposit back. Stay far away from SingularStays!

Stayed at the Botanico location (4th floor) in May 2022 during our last leg of our Spanish trip with our 18 months old son and compared to the other apartments we had this one was one of the worse ones and was a bit of a disappointment. The most frustrating was that the team of SingularStays seem not to care about guest questions and did not respond in a timely manner. All started with a bumpy check-in. First we were given the address of the offices not the actual apartment address. Only after chasing after them we got the check-in link (which went well) to get the arrival instructions (arrival once we were at the right location went well also). The apartment looks great on pictures but in reality and on second looks it is all really run down and dated. It gives the impression that everything is organized half-hearted: weak Internet signal since the router probably is on the ground floor, one window in the living room did not close, smelly balcony (from the water drainage), really bad smelling bathroom and open cables in the sleeping room. All could have been easy fixes if the maintenance team would care about making the guests feel comfortable. All in all a big disappointed and it appears that the apartment is poorly managed. The location itself is great and besides the apartment we had a great time in Valencia. If we come back we probably would not stay with singular stays again. We would spend our money elsewhere where we would feel welcomed.

I do not even want to list all minor things such as apartment location. To reach the apartment you need to cross the unsafe zone,so maybe in the morning it is ok but in the evening you definitely need to take taxi, as I d.The taxi is not expensive in Valencia so it did not affect my 1 star rating but it is something you need to share with potential clients.My negative feedback is due to the fact I got sick.The first day I waited till 15 to enter the room because of cleaning issue,I entered at 15:15 but the room was still not ready.That would not be issue if the cleaning lady did not turn on the air conditioning on maximum.When I turned back in the room at 22 it was freezing like in the fridge.Outside was also not so warm,so I opened the window and waited outside till 23 but it was still cold inside.I tried to turn the air conditioning on at warming option but it did not work,it had only the freezing option.I was really in crisis when I discovered there were no warm cover in the wardrobe..so I did not have anything to cover myself during the night.I covered myself with pillows but couldn't sleep and in the morning I had pain in my throat.I asked blanket the next day but I was already sick.My vacation was ruined. When I came back to Milan I had to cancel important appointments at work because I had to stay at home with 38c...This created me a lot of problems.Why there was no warm blanket?This happens to me first time.And why to turn on the freezing air conditioning in October?
