Pretty resort but needs better upkeep. Rooms are appointed very nicely very large, lots of character with wood floors and furnishings. However, showers take had lots of mold in grout lines that could easily be cleaned and toilet by hinges was very dirty. These are cleanliness details that should not be overlooked.

The hotel simply does not match the photos. In the administration, when you just arrive, a woman was talking on the phone and did not pay attention to us. The pool. Green water and lots of leaves, it looks neglected. The entire hotel looks like it was operational a few years ago, but now it’s empty. When we checked in, we only met 3-4 tourists. In the room, the air conditioner was so loud it was like being in a factory. Sleeping in this atmosphere is impossible. We checked into the hotel around 2 PM, and by 10 PM we had to leave because staying there was just impossible. I do not recommend visiting. It doesn’t deserve the 5 stars at all.

I stayed in a deluxe Lanna twin room with pool access. The room is huge. Breakfast was good. There was a lot of variety and coffee was great. Pick up from the airport was seamless. The staff were helpful and most spoke English. I was disappointed by the number of mosquitos on site and the pool situation. I booked one with pool access but did not find it clean enough to be used. There was fogging done the second day and the staff did alerted me before hand. There is free shuttle and we used it to travel to the Chiangmai Night Bazaar. I left my phone on the bed when I left the the bazaar, went back and my phone was still in the bed.

Lovely hotel in Chiang Mai. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bed was huge and supportive. The bathroom has a big tub and separate shower. We were on the second story, walk up, but we had help with the baggage. The rooms were quiet. There was bottled water, a mini fridge, and a safe in the room. The hotel had 2 beautiful pools, a spa and dining area. The breakfast buffet was well appointed with Eastern and Western offerings. The food was hot and tasty. The location was fairly close to central Chiang Mai, also about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from the night market. Though, I'm not sure I'd want to walk near the hotel. It seemed like an oasis on a side street, but I only came and went early morning and late night. The staff was super kind and helpful. The lobby was large and comfortable.

Other than the room which looks okay inside, everything else is run down. The bathrobe and room slippers are worn out and dirty. The 'resort' feels like a horror movie set and is eerie. Some parts of the 'resort' are abandoned, including the italian restaurant. There is only one restaurant at the lobby. There is nothing much around the vicinity. Its definitely not 5 star, more like 3 star or less. We checked out few hours after checking in, forgoing our payment.
