We chose this hotel for location (proximity to night markets and Thai boxing gyms), which is great and the price is fair, but it’s been a struggle living in the room we were given, to say the least. Our room is split-level, so our bed is raised onto a platform at mid-shin height which my husband and I have both bashed our toes on in the dark; there is no mirror other than over the bathroom sink which is really poorly lit, so doing makeup after dark is kind of impossible. No full length mirrors in the rooms, which actually would have been really handy considering we’re buying so much clothes here and we’re tall Canadians so I have to check my pant length before going out 😂 Anyway, it feels as though many little oversights were made when designing the rooms that add-up to a lot of inconvenience and frustration. The rooms are not well sound-proofed; there is a gap under the door to the hallway so you hear all footsteps and talking. The rooftop was closed with no explanation, which was one of the selling points for us when we booked. It’ll serve for the few days we’re here but I wouldn’t return. Housecleaning has been great, but they’re consistently late on returning your laundry by the expected time.

Don’t stay here if you have other options. Room is spacious , but the staffs in the recent are not friendly and did not offer help for luggage. The lights switches are hard to find and could not find the hair blower ( they did not blower in the shower room. There is no outlet in the shower room. Towels look old.

Adding this review as I feel this hotel is a bit overrated. Pros - recently refurbished, minimalists looking hotel near old town. Decent price. Cons: - bar next door one of the biggest ones. Was really loud on the first night, but did not bother us later. - there always seems to be just one toilet roll - towels are old and have holes in them - there was a smell in the room - it feels like their plumbing is not done properly. The floors are not level so the water collected around toilet bowl after the shower. - double duvet for a king bed
