Smart Hotel Garnizon

Our experience was fine, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again as there are larger Airbnb’s for a similar price nearby. It’s good for 1 night, just be aware of some of the unique aspects about the rooms. -rooms are super small, barely space to open suitcases. But if you plan to be out for the day and need a place to sleep, it’s fine -your room has your own bathroom, but it’s not really private. For example, the shower is inside of the room, so when you finish your shower and open the door, you’re in the room (there is no bathroom door). For my wife and I this was fine, but if you’re staying with a friend, you have no privacy. Also, the shower glass is clear on the left side and frosted on the right side, so you don’t have privacy while even showering. The size of the shower was good. There is another sliding door on the other side of the room with the toilet and sink. The door does not close all the way and there is no lock. It is the size of an airplane toilet and sink. It’s fine, but not comfortable for several days. -the hotel front desk staff were very friendly and have good English. We were able to store our luggage’s in their office as we arrived earlier before check in. -everything was very clean and fresh -the carpets in the hallways are stained, probably by bleach, so they have a weird appearance and makes the building not very classy -hotel has good and free wifi, rooms have good lighting and outlets and a desk -hotel is beside a busy road, for us we didn’t mind it and did not notice it much especially at night -the location is very good. Lots of restaurants, a shopping mall, and continence store “Zabka” very close by. It’s nice to see management is incorporating some changes to their procedures due to reviews. For example people complained about not knowing they need to pay for parking at checkin and they receiving a fine from the 3rd party parking company. Now, at checkin front desk is asking guests if they need parking, and there is also a sign informing you to pay upfront for parking. Overall our stay was fine, but you can find an entire apartment nearby for a similar price and have alot more room. But if you just need a hotel room for 1 night this is good and easy.

I found hairs on duvets. Very loud, there's a very busy street right outside. (Wouldn't be able to sleep with open windows) No ac and no fans available in the rooms so gets v. hot. Outrageous charge of 25PLN for hotel parking (per day). Drunkards singing and laughing in the early morning right outside the window, also on corridor inside the hotel, no reaction from hotel management. Avoid (unless you want to join the party)
