It was our first visit to Paris and we stayed at Solly Hotel for 4 nights. I arrived very early in the morning around 7:30am and hotel safely kept my luggage. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed late at the quiet kitchen/bar and one of the staffs (sorry I forgot your name!!) was very gregarious and kind. He was also another reason we loved staying there! Lobby and rooms are very clean, water pressure in the shower room is great and view from the balcony to the park is peaceful. Great location!! I didn't want to stay near Eiffel anyways. We are going to Paris again next month!!! And we decided to stay at Solly Hotel again. Looking forward for another great experience. :)

We had a pleasant three-night stay at Solly Hotel, a charming boutique establishment conveniently located near train stations and overlooking a park. The friendly staff made our experience positive, and despite the typical European-sized rooms, they were modern, well-equipped with essential amenities and we loved the mini balcony. The overall value was decent. We noticed some homeless individuals near neighboring building entries at night— however homelessness is a global concern. Nevertheless, the hotel's easy access to transportation and amenities contributed to an enjoyable stay. I’d recommend!

We have spent 3 nights on the 3rd floor. The hotel seems stylish, the location is good. However, the rooms are very small and we could hear literally every step on the stairs as well as how the cleaning service vacuum-cleans around 9-10 am. Also, the elevator was only working on the first day, and the management could not fix the situation. All in all, if you are staying for 1 night it is okay, but if you are looking for a relaxing stay - consider other options.

I’ve stayed at quite a lot of hotels, and even in great hotels unfortunate things can happen. At Solly hotel the AC started leaking through the ceiling, leading us to trashing some of our toiletry products and having to leave the room. However when these things happen, especially at a supposedly 4* hotel, the staff should at least pretend that they care, offer any form of apology or compensation. In this case, no single apology, we were moved to a smaller room, no compensation, nothing at all. We complained about it and it was as if they had no idea why we were complaining in the first place. Like “yes the ceiling leaked for an hour, we asked you to pack within 10 minutes and then moved you to a smaller room, what’s the matter?”. After complaining, they proposed to compensate us for the toiletry products that got damaged… like that’s the problem. We came back several times around 11pm and no one was at the front desk, so basically anyone could just walk in at night. The checkout process says it all: no one asked us if we had a good stay (they don’t really care), it was raining outside and no one proposed to help us get our luggage to the cab. We did not even get a goodbye. Iwouldn’t be surprised if it was a cheap hotel as you can’t expect good service without paying for it. In brief it’s a 3* hotel with the service level of a hostel.
