When my partner and I arrived on the premises, we had a warm welcome from Andre and Mathilda. This was wonderful after a long drive from the airport. The premises was extremely tranquil, no traffic noise, no noisy children running around and don't get started on the views, almost a tropical vibe with the beautiful trees surrounding us. The next morning was wonderful too, waking up to the smell of croissants, eggs and bacon, but first a big bowl of fresh fruits and a cup of hot coffee. Andre and Mathilda, thank you for a lovely experience, we are looking forward to spending our holiday with you again.

Really amazing place to stay. Extremely comfortable rest and very nice rooms! The owners were very understanding and accommodating - despite my few friends being a bit too noisy for my liking and probably ruining it for us. Despite this, owners still acted extremely professionally despite my friend's breaking their part of the deal to keep quiet. Owner made sure to make an effort to socialize to his guests and make them feel very welcome. Very few would be kind enough to offer younger guys some rooms on such short notice, but they went out of their way to accommodate us and I truly appreciate it. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast as we were in a rush, but based off the standards of everything else, I'm sure it would of been lovely as well! The bathrooms are clean and spacious, the beds comfortable and overall just top standard. Only gripe I'd give is this is not the place to bring one's kids or younger less considerate friends. As the owner's expect their guests to also be professional at all times and not disturb their other guests, which is totally understandable. So if you know the friends, family or whoever you intend to bring cannot follow their rules on being quiet, I suggest looking elsewhere. I'll definitely be coming back again the future, just this time, without my friends so I can enjoy the luxurious ZomerZicht B&B in peace. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay in SW. Target audience is definitely grown adults, but as long as you know you will act professionally, I'm sure the owners will be more than happy to accommodate you! Unfortunately, we won't be able to enjoy our stay at SomerZicht as the owners have an emergency that they need to attend to on the day that we planned to visit. However, the owner went above and beyond within a day to make alternative arrangements on our behalf so that we could still enjoy our "planned" stay at a guesthouse. If that is the way that they treat someone that they have never met, then I have no doubt that this would be a fantastic place to stay as the pictures already speak for themselves.

Unfortunately I wouldn't recormmend it to ANYONE. Don't get me wrong dit is een van die mooiste plekke in die mooiste area but the owner Andre has his people. The more money you pay the better the service you get from him. We had to start whispering when we enter/leave the premises cause apparently there where people who felt they on holiday n wanted to sleep late mean while breakfast is at 8h30 so I dont know how does one prepare without a making a sound, obviously you wouldn't go around screaming cause you repect other people but we were told to be quiet there are people on holiday. The bedding isn't changed regularly if you stay 4 nights they only change it only when you out even your towels...for a 4 star you just expect sustain things to be in place.Then after all of that the discomfort we overslept n just made it alil after check out time but even then the owner himself came n threw us out noting to my husband that 'he is running a business'. I mean really??what happend to customer service??SIES!!Let's improve service please cause the color of money is the same. Andre is JUST PLAIN RUDE n makes you FEEL its his place you don't sit and stall people have planes to catch not "waste time" at your premises. Next time just tell the agencies the "TYPE/COLOR OF PEOPLE YOU PREFER"
