Fun hotel. My family always loves staying here. Fun option that’s NOT on the strip. Pro tip: NEVER COME DURING RODEO (unless that’s what you’re doing there for). Beyond busy to the point of uncomfortable. Love this place though. Bowling alley, tons of delicious foods and restaurants. Starbucks on casino floor too. It has it all and we always keep coming back. Great poker room too for all my Texas hold ‘em fans. Huge room and hosts big tournaments with lots of fun bonuses. Another pro tip: pay for the spa day pass. It’s like $30-35 per person and you get access to beautiful hot tubs, saunas, and deluxe amenities. Nice way to start the trip if you’re feeling stressed from the travel. Beautiful super well equipped gym too! Great place to hit some some weights. 💪🏼🏋️‍♀️🏋🏼‍♂️

This hotel is a great alternative to the craziness on the strip. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and professional, and went out of their way to make our stay great. Special recognition goes to John at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. He was kind and attentive. He is a true professional at what he does, and I hope he is highly recognized, and appreciated by his superiors!

While I can't say how good the accommodations are, this is a fun casino to visit if you are looking for something off the strip. If you are looking for late-night eats, then The Coronado is what you're looking for. Their $6.95 steak and eggs deal is a steal! My only critique is I would've liked to see bigger coffee cups, but then I am a coffee addict! Otherwise, The Coronado is the place to go for a great dining choice. The floor has large selection of nickel slots, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. This resort also has a large arena for equestrian events, and frequently hosts rodeos. All in all, I recommend Southpoint to anyone who wants a smaller, more relaxed casino off the strip.

I met up at the buffet with family I hadn’t seen in years and introduced them to my wife. My family is local but we are from out of town but I used to live here years ago. The buffet was good and offered a big selection of different food. Our server was great. Plates never stacked up on the table and I never had to ask for a refill because he replaced my empty cup with a full one before I could ask. was disappointed to find out that most casinos have done away with buffets since covid but am glad to have found at least one that hasn’t closed it down. We’ll be back when we come back to town.
