I had a nice stay at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and provided great service. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is comprehensive. My only problem was the cleanliness of the room. There’s a lot of bugs, including a couple big ones and also lots of small ants. It seems like the ant problem could be solved by providing trash cans with lids. Also, the hotel provided amenities like toothbrush, water, etc but did not provide hand soap to wash hands after using toilet. I also found a hair that was not mine in the bath area. However, the bed was clean and the view was great, so I think the rest could be fixed. Although it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main part of Wulai, it’s a nice walk so I didn’t mind, and there’s also a 7/11 store only 5 minutes walking.

Great hot spring hotel. Although somewhat dated decor but very clean. The only downside was their blinds are completely see through so you feel like you get less privacy.

An all perfect place to stay. Service is great, priced right, very clean and the view is spectacular. The authentic hot spring is quite an experience, too. I'll highly recommend travelers to stay here for their clean spacious room with great views. Actually I was kinda surprised they are in this wonderful price range... Great job the hotel management team!

Much of the same positive experiences of other reviewers, big room, friendly staff, nice location. I can't say enough about the on site spa... it is amazing!!! Included with your stay, you have access to a men and women's segregated spa area equipped with 4 tubs at different temperatures ranging from 15 degrees Celsius (brrrr) to 44 degrees Celsius. There are also 2 saunas, one wet and one dry, and finally an area that had a water jet shower with 4 spouts to massage your tired muscles. There were also lounge chairs available to relax in. Once you're done in the spa, you can shower and then go to a separate room that had body lotion and hair dryers. The only negative experience we hadduring our stay was with the taxi drivers. Because this hotel is a 20ish minute walk to the old street and log train, we took a number of taxis. Each ride was a different price even though the distance was exactly the same.

Major plus point of the hotel is the very spacious and beautiful room. There is a private hot tub in the room with huge window overlooking the mountains and river. Very relaxing. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel can be easily accessed from a bus stop 5 min walk. But it is a long walk from the Wulai Old Street (12-15 min walk). You can stay here if you like quieter part of Wulai. Unfortunately the toilet in our room was leaking. The staff did not clean our room and replenish the coffee & water. A bit of mold on wall. Hence not 4 stars. But I would still recommend people to stay here if you can overlook it.
