I loved my room, despite the ac/heat not appearing to work correctly and it got really hot despite being in the winter. It's small but hey it's NYC. You're not spending all your time in your room. The room was clean and sharp and perfect for me despite their being no drawers to put your stuff in. The gym was good for a hotel, the breakfast was a plus although super crowded. This is hotel that attracts tons of tourists so be prepared for chaos. The staff here, except for the concierge guy and manager (both who were nice) is rude and not pleasant. When I checked in (an hour early) I was told they were oversold and I had to take a room with 2 queens. After speaking to the manager I was given a room with a king like I booked, and even one with a great view. The elevators are a problem - the morning I went down for breakfast, I waited over 10 minutes and had to call the front and then one of the elevators arrived and a guy was operating it by hand inside. Good location for the hotel. Free coffee and hot cocoa was a nice plus. Overall I prob wouldn't stay here again due to the unfriendly staff, booking problems and popularity with tourists.

I absolutely loved this hotel! Everything was amazing, for the first time visitors this hotel is excellent. The room is a little bit small (which I personally didn’t mind), but very cosy, bed was very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and cooperative, all of them, and the cleaning regular. The absolute best was the VIEW! 10/10!! I could see the Empire State Building from my room. It made my staying in NY memorable! Breakfast was ok, good enough to start a day, and complementary coffee 24/7 comes very handy. Would recommend this hotel 100%!! I had a bit of issues with the AC, but I called in and every time they fixed it promptly. All in all: I loved it!!

Room is small but as expected since this is NYC, location is pretty convenient. I got a high floor room and the view was very nice overseeing the whole city. My least favorite was the noise you can hear from the room. Since the hallway is so narrow and room doors are literally right across each other, every time someone goes in and out, you can hear extremely clearly of the door slams. It woke me up a few times throughout the night. Other than that, I wasn't a big fan of the bed, a bit too firm for me but it was perfect for my husband. They provided two different types of pillow, and the TV was super convenient to connect to for YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming services. In terms of amenities, they didn't have slippers, and no vanity supplies (tooth paste, shower cap, etc) in the bathroom other than the basic shower stuff.

Yes, the rooms are small, but this is New. York. City. Location is in the Flower District with a quick walk to R/W station. Stayed here on January 1st, and the hotel staff did an admirable job coping with post New Year's crowd. Daniela at check in was efficient and had me checked in early to an upgraded high level room. The rooms are, as mentioned, on the small side but have been recently redone, and were very clean. Decor also new and looks quite nice. Linens and sheets on bed also seemed new, and shower has the large bottle dispensers instead of single serve plastic, which I like a lot. TVs are updated and have Netflix, YouTube, Amazon prime and Pluto for streaming. Also, breakfast is really impressive for a complimentary hotel meal, with an great spread of food. There is an extensive buffet with lots of gluten-free baked goods and sealed containers of gluten free oatmeal. (Did not see dedicated GF toaster). Most protein breakfast items on the hot trays are also gluten free, although cross contamination is not guaranteed. It was pretty busy when I went at 7:45 a.m., and the hotel suggest getting there when it opens at 6:30 on weekdays to avoid crowds. For the location, recently redone rooms, and breakfast, this hotel is a good value for NYC. I've probably stayed at half the hotels in midtown by now for work or visits and this is definitely one I would come back to.

The check in staff above and beyond to make sure i had a quiet place to take a call. The entire morning crew said hello and interacted as much as I wanted. Decades of coming to NYC i never felt this valued. Top staff and experience. Also lots if gluten free options for breakfast The rooms are small, so be prepared. They are smaller than The Moxy and other boutique Marriott brands. NOT bad, but be aware. for instance in the double queen you sat on a bed or a small barrel chair (there is 1 and the desk barely fits a laptop). It isn't bad but you should know. i will stay here again
