Perfect stay for family of 3. If you want a reasonably priced hotel with 5 star service. Choose this place. For the price you pay, you are getting way better than some established hotels. One example is you get to use the laundry facilities for free! Other 5 star hotels will charge you a premium just for that! It’s located about 10mins walk to Yu Garden also which has lots of nice restaurants and souvenir shops.

Room was large and spacious for three people. Bathroom was large but not the cleanest. Free minibar daily, breakfast has a nice selection of food and drink, small clean gym, free use of commercial washer and dryer. Staff are nice. Hotel is located in front of an eight lane road/flyover so you hear the constant hum of traffic and rumble of cars and trucks driving past. There is also a construction site across the road where work starts early and continues through the night till 1-2am? I gave up and used earplugs to block out traffic and the banging of doors. It’s currently winter so if you try and use the air conditioner it will only blow out heat. On an unseasonably warm day like yesterday the choice was to turn off air to the room or open the window and allow the smoke from smokers below and the noise to come in to the room. It might be better on the higher floors and facing the back. It’s a decent three star hotel.

Great hotel. The staff really shine during the visit, not all speak English but will always try and help with translate. Ate in the restaurant once and was good food. Massage good price and friendly. Very easy to get to the met stop and located rather central to everything.

Overall a very pleasant stay with little to criticise. The rooms are large and spacious and kept clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable so had a great nights sleep. Only mild complaints are the WiFi is slow (get a VPN as nothing like Google and Meta products work) and the air con didn’t really work well. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they helped use get around the city. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide choice catering to Eastern and Western visitors. The roof top bar has good views of the city. Location is great as it’s right next to a metro station. If you’re visiting from outside China make sure you download a map first. Come out of exit 1 and take a left over the road and the hotel is a few minutes away. We walked everywhere and the Bund is about a 15 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

My family stayed here for 6 days in October 2023, and it was perfect for what we needed. Friendly staff that made us feel welcome, lovely room, free WiFi, air conditioning separated by room, and a mini fridge that was restocked with water soft drinks and snacks every day. The highlight was the huge bath that overlooked Shanghai from the 17th floor, and the rainforest shower. Having a sliding partition between the main bedroom and the living room for privacy was a big bonus, but the sliding door to the bathroom offered no privacy at all! The hotel is located on a tricky part of Ren Min Rd, where a few taxi drivers don't really like to stop, but other than that, the location was great. We were 1-2 km from The Bund, Yu Gardens, lots of museums, and a short walk to the Metro. We had breakfast included, and every day, the food from the buffet was great. We ate from the rooftop bar each morning, and it was wonderful.
