This is a hard place to review. Initially finding it was tough, we had to go into the main building, at which point we found a receptionist who took us 10 stores down to a neon light shop, at which point we met the person who looked after the reservations, who then also took us up to the room back in the main building, which has essentially a normal room which has been converted into a small apartment complex. Whilst this was pretty confusing and seemed a little bit off at times, the staff were actually very helpful, so can’t really fault that. We then took the strangest elevator ever to our room (which I really liked), and the room itself was actually lovely, and very clean as the photos suggests, no complaints there either! Where this place falls down is in the evening… The walls are as thin as paper, it literally sounds like people are in your room, you can hear every word, every song, every romantic act… It was so bad that it really does cost this place a lot. That combined with a 5 star hotel price, makes the overall price very unjustified, even if the overall experience was good.

The service has been excellent. I have to say that first, because it's the main reason for these stars. They cleaned our room every day while we were out, replacing towels and making the bed, like a hotel. On the second day, I broke the key card off in the lock, and the manager had it replaced for us immediately, no charge. The Jacuzzi in our room was excellent. Unfortunately, this room is right next to the office. See last paragraph. There is an espresso machine in the hall, which makes free coffees, cappuccinos, etc. However, I'm an early riser 4-5 am, and it doesn't get turned back on until 8 or 9 (not sure, we didn't stick around the room that long in the morning). Bed and breakfast, to me, implies more than a toaster and bread set out in the morning and packaged croissants, but that's what it means here. The walls are also super thin, so we could hear everything going on in the hall and the construction on the floor below.

We had a great stay here! We actually only came to Rome because we saw an advert on Instagram for this hotel and we were sold on the sauna and whirlpool tub option. A bit more pricey for that option but worth it. Really good sized room, nicely decorated, friendly staff. The street and apartment blocks don't look great from the outside but don't be put off, it's a treasure once you're in there! Coloured lights on the balcony are nice but didn't seem to be an option to turn them off and they flashed a lot. Not a big problem as the screen to the bedroom blocked out the light for sleeping, but would be good to be able to control them.

Mixed feelings, staff are really helpful and can't do enough when you get hold of them. Rooms are lovely, clean and modern. Limited wardrobe space, but we were here for 2 weeks. The jacuzzi baths are great, especially the one on the balcony. Very romantic. Shame that you can't see out of the balcony, but I understand, being on the 8th floor they are thinking of people who get drunk but it's a shame for the ones who don't drink? lots of cake, full fat drinks and full cream milk for breakfast, maybe have healthier options available too. 3 🌟 because we had a couple of issues but they were resolved eventually! 😏 Aircon stopped working for 2 days🤔, in the end we were moved to an upgraded room. WiFi didn't work for a day. Telephone numbers provided for contacting them but no one answers or gets back to you. Requested low fat milk and yogurt which was provided. Would we stay again definitely 👍😁🌹
