There are a couple of very luxurious couples breakaway places in the area... Summerfields Rose Retreat & Spa is at the top of my list when it comes to weekend, or weekday breakaway for two... We just loved everything about it and it still comes up in conversations around the braai, or just hanging with friends. The river flowing in the background and being surrounded by forest brings a calm to your inner soul... Staying in one of these 5-Star luxury tents has been exhilarating to say the least.

I love Summerfields. Luxury tents on the river, raised wooden walkways along the river, a wonderful pool, a spa (haven't tried it but people say it's great). Set in a macadamia plantation, total tranquility. Walks along the river and through the plantation. So relaxing. The restaurant is stunning and the food is just great.

Went in for a massage, mani n pedi and lunch. The place looks gorgeous, like something out of a magazine. The full body massage was very relaxing the food was honestly just okay. They have a bar at the pool area with the option of having your food brought there.
