Honestly we had such a wonderful experience. Bungalow is situated East ~ facing the island formations/sleeping giants & sunrise is of course epic. There’s a nice buffer of trees so that the breeze feels “just right” ~ and there is a cute flower garden that’s been tended with love. 🌸 For now it’s an ultra mellow side of the island (massive resort going up nearby) ~ village vibes, “stuff” far and few between & that was just fine for us! Staff were super kind & helpful. Such a warmth to the energy. Bis (one of ladies with a smile like the sun) made everything go smoothly & was always there to help. Can rent a scooter from there. (300B/day) Can’t wait to return.

This was one our top favorite resorts. Nice little patio out front to enjoy the view of the garden and the ocean. Highly recommend walking out to the pier and seeing the sunrise, very beautiful! Our room was clean, comfortable and had a lot of little details and amenities that made our stay very pleasant. Some of the details were slippers, robes, beach towels, plug in hot water kettle, plenty of shampoo/body wash in dispensers instead of little shampoo tubes where you always need more, efficient air conditioner, television that had a couple english speaking stations and BREAKFAST included every morning! They have a breakfast menu that you can choose from. Actually we had chicken or shrimp fried rice or rice soup for breakfast, but they also have standard breakfast fare like toast, eggs and sausage. The staff were so warm and friendly. Highly recommend this resort and would choose to stay here again.

Stayed here one night and the customer service was amazing. Very kind people and the view and rooms were very nice. I would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Koh Yai Yoi Edited: upon leaving we weren't able to leave to go to the pier due to the departure times of the boat. The resort employees offered us a scooter to ride around for 2 hours and when we returned to go to the pier we tried to tip them for their generosity and they would not accept it. The young man told my spouse no it was your birthday yesterday. Also, as we left to go to the pier they had a box wrapped with a gift for my spouse. It was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for us. We will definitely return to this resort. 5 stars isn't enough for how wonderful this place was.
