Cute and cozy little place. Wish I stayed more than a day. Was sad we couldn't leave windows open because everyone would see in. It was a beautiful view especially at night. I didn't mind the noise at all as it was a bit removed from the busy part. Could hear the tram a bit but I'm a heavy sleeper. Beautiful gardens beside and lots of places to eat and shop. Unique experience in a tiny home.

It's a unique and lovely concept. We've had come past the Hortusbrug many times and love the architecture of the tower, in which the room is located. The interior is designed with great care and clever concepts. The views along the canal, over the bridge and towards the botanical garden are wonderful. Unfortunately, the view is equally great vice versa, and there are no proper curtains to block the view. This requires to close the shutters fully, which makes the inside less charming. Hence 3 of 5 stars. We may opt for one of the other locations in the future, as it is indeed a stay out of the ordinary.

There isn't much privacy if you have the blinds open, but the location is amazing! And it's such a unique place to stay! Definitely recommend!

I can only recommend a night at SWEETS hotel –it was one of the greatest experiences in a long time. I lived in Amsterdam for two years and loved the new perspective I got from staying in the bridge house. The view from inside on the street and the beautiful terraces were absolutely fantastic. The communication and check-in was super easy and all online. The personalized cards and gifts that were left in the house made us feel very welcome and at home. Also, the breakfast was great – delicious and healthy too! Can only recommend!

If you like to have the full Amsterdam experience, stay at the Hortusbrug of Sweets hotel! I had an amazing stay at a quiet and well organized room next to the Hortus. A perfect location to get connected with locals, to enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the canal, while boats are passing by. The bridge house is modern decorated and easy accessible. Even though I live in Amsterdam, I have never felt so connected with the city, by staying at the Hortusbrug of Sweets hotel.
