In a nutshell, the hotel is very clean, close to the beach and restaurants, convenient store 7-11. The breakfast is appropriate, not too many varieties but still acceptable. Our room is on the 1st floor and it is peaceful and quiet. Lots of spaces to put our stuffs and luggages. The best thing I love about this hotel is their shampoo and body soap. The smell is so refreshing and relax that I could take the bath all day long :) The wifi is strong. Enough parking area. One minor comment is the hotel should reconsider renovating the pool area especially the artificial grass which keeps dirts and water which I'm concerned about the cleanliness.

this hotel is located 20 min. walk from asakusa temple and ueno park, and 7 min. walk from nearest subway station, but too far from center of tokyo - around 15-20 min. by subway. however, it is propably the cheapest hotel you can find in tokyo, with prices ranging from 25-30 usd for a private single room - it is a room indeed (not the infamous capsule), but very small, around 10 sq. meter, with aircondition, free wifi and tv, but shared toilet and shower. in the same street there are other similar hotels, some have bigger rooms for 3500 yen - still very cheap compare to central tokyo. staff are friendly and helping.

I stayed at the Talay Hotel for 3 nights in February 2020. Nice room, quiet in the rear, about 5 min walk to the beach. Good breakfast (order), clean room, WiFi ok, not great, bed a little hard and cable TV with no English stations. The second night of my stay, I woke up at 1:30 a.m. sweating although the AC was still running. I then realized that the fan was running but no cold air was coming out of the ceiling vent. Got dressed and went up to the reception desk to explain and a young guy came to room. He climbed up on a chair and saw that the AC compressor was not running. So he went back to office and they gave me another room 2 doors away. I went back to sleep (in cool AC) and moved everything out of my other room to new room. Staff is very friendly (although they speak very little English but not a problem). I liked the hotel and would stay there again. Great location!!!

Great place to stay overnight. Room size is just about right. Furnitures are new and very practical. Good location just in front of Cha-am view point. My stay didn't include hotel breakfast but from what I see, it isn't worth. Better get breakfast elsewhere. There is 7-11, few restaurants, street food troller nearby. They also have their own parking place (feel more secure than just park by the road like some other hotel). . Air condition in the room a bit too cold.
