Large rooms, a spacious lobby and restaurant, along with an attentive staff are not enough to save this tired and well-worn hotel, and bring it up to contemporary standards. We had booked a suite facing north and west towards the mountains. The floor to ceiling windows were by far the best feature of this hotel. Our first room's air conditioner was too anemic to cool the room sufficiently. Also, flushing the toilet was a 45 second endeavour. But when we asked them to take a look at it the following day, it was no problem to switch us to a fully functioning room at the same standard as our reservation. The breakfast is large, but almost entirely Asian items on offer.

great hotel for the money. changed room off the main road no hassle. most powerful shower in thailand! pool and sauna great bonus. breakfast (fried egg on toast / plenty of fruit + Thai/Chinese options) sets you up for the day. ideal location to do the loop on scooter + close enough to old town but far enough away

wow! the hotel looks old building but inside is nice and clean friendly staff the breakfast buffet is great . Mainly Thai people stay there nice and quiet, the bed is clean and comfy. hot shower and water pressure work fine. highly recommend if you are looking for hotel budget about 600-800 thb per night with breakfast I paid 580 thb with promotion code from traveloga.
