I would stay well away from booking with Taxim First Apart. 2 months prior to arrival, our Barclaycard statement showed the apartment took full funds, it had their business name on it. When we arrived there end of July, the owner who hardly spoke in English refused our booking and refused payment was taken. He turned us away. As we had booked via Expedia, we contacted them. The owner finally agreed to help and arranged alternative accommodation. The alternative apartment we were given was way below standard and under equipped with insect (flying ants coming from bathroom from unknown place) and fungi problems. There was no bathroom lock, so 3 adults were having to alert each other prior to using the bathroom. There was no stovetop hob and no cooking equipment. The tap was broken in the bathroom and 1 bedroom door was broken and handle broken. Taxim First Apart has seemed to portray a very misleading advertise of what you pay for versus what you get. It has been an unpleasant 4 days for us. They have however, greatly benefited from our money though which is a shame.
