We should have rented the premium apartment shown in the pictures from Booking. Unfortunately, the first apartment that was shown to us had a very dirty sofa in the living room and did not look far like the one in the pictures. The host took us to a second apartment which was located a block away. This apartment was very old and cold. The heating is done with very noisy air conditioners. The hot water flowed intermittently. At most two people can shower one after the other. Definitely, it didn't worth the money we payed !

Place is a dump, dirty, everything is falling apart, unsecure and smelly. we found feces smeared on the outside of the toilet. you're better staying under a bench in the park.

The host cancelled the room less than 24 hours before our arrival. I have a string of messages to prove this At first they said we could not check in at the time we would like to, but after further probing I found out the accommodation was just not available at all! They tried to offer us alternative accommodation, which we refused and we got a full refund. The deceitfulness of the host is a terrible reflection of the service they offer and I recommend all booking agencies disassociate with them

This is a very good place to stay for the weekend in Tel Aviv (it would be easy to make it home for a week or longer too)... the apartment is decked out with modern fittings, the hot water works great, the bathroom is clean and there's a nice lounge area with sofa, kitchen-diner and widescreen TVs throughout. There's a toaster over, microwave (you need to speak Hebrew to program it, or just guess and press all the buttons) and a hot plate with frying pans. The AM-PM market over the road is open 24x7 and they speak English... there's lots of cutlery and heaters and air conditioning throughout. We spoke to "Lee" who helped us get in via a safe key lockbox. It helps if you make sure you have WhatsApp installed as that means you can contact the owners for anything you need including a taxi back to the airport. There's a strange water-jet toothpick plumbed into the bath faucet, but that's the only thing weird about this good place.
