The Angkal Resort: A Paradise Found! Our stay at The Angkal Resort in Nusa Penida was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped into our room, we were greeted by a space that epitomized comfort and elegance. The room was immaculate, exuding a sense of tranquility with every detail perfectly curated. But what truly stole our hearts was the breathtaking ocean view that greeted us each morning. It felt like a dream waking up to such an awe-inspiring panorama. The pool area was an oasis of serenity, offering not only relaxation but also unparalleled vistas that left us speechless. However, what truly sets The Angkal apart is its exceptional staff. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made our experience unforgettable. From the reception to the restaurant, every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Their friendliness, eagerness to assist, and contagious happiness added an extra layer of joy to our vacation. We had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant, where Dita, in particular, made our dining experience exceptional. Her attention to detail, passion for service, and delightful demeanor truly stood out. A special thank to Dita for making our meals not just delicious, but memorable. Travelling with our 3-year-old son, the staff showered him with kindness, making him feel incredibly welcome and creating a family-friendly environment that made our hearts swell with gratitude.In summary, The Angkal Resort is a gem on Nusa Penida, not just for its stunning rooms, breathtaking views, and serene pool, but for its outstanding staff whose dedication and passion for hospitality make it an absolute must-visit destination. Had a lovely stay here. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The only negative feedback we have was that when it rained pool lounge cushions were not brought out of the rain and they remained wet for a few days. Only other thing is that the wifi sometimes cuts out and you have to sign in again. None of this took away from our experience hence the 5 stars, but just some feedback. Overall a beautiful location with lovely staff and the restaurant is really good with plenty of good options for vegans or vegetarians as well.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to! The staff is incredibly friendly and so helpful. The rooms are huge and have always been clean. The view from the infinity pool oven the ocean is just breathtaking! Actually it deserves 6 stars!

Angkal is a very serene and beach front resort, we stayed for 2 nights, the place is located in the middle of Nusa Penida, giving proximity to both east and west side beaches and places to see around. Rooms/Villas are very spacious and furnished well. Staff in Angkal were very courteous and friendly, we were always provided help when needed and the hospitality was superb, thanks to all the staff, especially the drop and pick up from Sanur harbor. The choices of food/menu for vegans are limited, they do serve a lot local food and breakfast menu is delicious and fulfilling. The resort offers stay for both couples and families, each can have their privacy and kids will surely enjoy the stay and the surrounding. This beach front property also offers a sea facing pool and restaurant, the cottages too are mostly sea facing, one can enjoy sun set and sunrise along side getting a glimpse of Lambhongnan island. Overall a beautiful place to stay and yes there is value of money worth the service and hospitality.

This was a great hotel for us as we wanted togo to the Goa Giri temple the next day. It had an amazing view from the room and pool area. It was clean, well appointed and friendly. The on-site spa was a bonus especially after a day on the scooter. The only negative would be the drink prices in the bar, in particular beer and coffee. The food we had was delicious.
