I stayed at the Art Inn two weeks ago and the night I arrived my flight was delayed several times. I never received an email with entry instructions. Just a confirmation that I booked a room. The night I arrived I called the booking company who said the main office (Art Inn) closed at 8. It was 11:30ish as I was outside dealing with trying to get in. No one could help me out and I was forced to rent a room overnight at a hotel. A very costly one night stay at the least which I feel should be compensated for their lack of communication. The description of the room said that each room came with its own art inn tote bag. Ours did not. The shower felt very claustrophic and the towel bar by the sink was hanging on by a thread. The heater was on in the room when we were finally able to gain access the next day. When I'd return from being out it felt like the heater wasn't heating. The door has a big gap on the bottom and we had to roll a towel to cover it to begin to feel some sort of warmth in the room. The bathroom felt like I was going outside in the cold. The heater does not reach the inside of the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom blows out cold air and in 19 degree weather using the bathroom feels like torture. I am very displeased with the way the Art Inn's contactless check in works. They definitely need some areas for improvement. I don't think I'd stay here again.

The experience has been mediocre from beginning to end. We booked through 3rd party booking, which stated that our room would have a king and 2 twin beds. When we arrived we found 2 kings and the room in shambles. Parking was a nightmare. While yes, they advertise having a parking spot included in the booking, the spot could not have been tighter if they tried. Parking is in the alley behind the house, and the spots are literally falling apart. They had cones up to make sure people wouldn't drive off the edge. If you drive anything larger than a standard Sedan, you'll have a horrible time getting in and out of there. The rooms, as mentioned above, were in shambles. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by damages all over the walls, doors, floors, ceiling, and counter tops. The bathroom door was literally splitting in two, and the decorative wall was free standing, having been clearly torn off its fastening points. Sadly, the rooms were not actually clean either. The nearby counter tops and chairs were stained, covered in crumbs, and had a weird odor coming off them. Going into the bathroom was just as fun. We found used soap bars in the shower with some of the nobs missing. This means you can use the shower... kind of. The neighborhood hood itself was a bit shady. I know we were in Seattle, and I knew having a dude selling and doing meth on the side yard was to be expected, but I did not expect the train of drug dealers lining the outside of the property. This place is definitely not worth your time or your money.

The housekeeping service entered my room TWICE without my permission, while the 'do not disturb' sign was on my door. They seem to think they are allowed to come and go as they please, because there is a housekeeper closet INSIDE my room. One time I was napping, and they tried to come inside anyways, after telling them to go away. Totally unacceptable. The splitting bathroom door is also a problem, it's very loud and difficult to close.
