We stayed here for a girls weekend to celebrate a birthday. Isabella at the front desk was wonderful and quick with the check in process. She overheard us chatting about it being someone's birthday and she was kind enough to set up a little surprise for when we got back into our room. Everyone we interacted with (doormen, bellhops and front desk) were incredibly kind. Both the sofa bed and standard bed were comfortable and clean. The downsides of this stay: Obviously a photo can make anything look better but the room seemed to be a bit less inviting or dingy than depicted online. -My bedside table outlet did not work for charging (not a huge deal I just plugged right into the outlet). -The water in the shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. There was no in between. -The shower pressure or setting you could change but when attempted, nothing changed it was the same pressure and flow These are all minor things however for an $800 a night room I would hope these minor things would be maintained and not overlooked. The negative stars solely reflects the issues within the room itself. Otherwise our stay was great.

We just stayed nearly a week in a one bedroom suite. The location was convenient and the room/bathroom were clean. The rooms haven't been updated in quite a while (which was fine given the cleanliness). The availability from the pillow menu was significantly lacking. The room was always hot, so we had to have windows open in December (the ac was louder than outside) and the open windows meant loud city noises.

We stayed as a family with a 4 and 1 year old. The stay was fantastic and the staff really made our trip to New York. The rooms were spacious, modern and we chose a room with a kitchen corner which made heating milk for our baby easy at night. The children had a $15 budget to pick snacks and sweets in the lobby area, they had a cart filled with things like water, biscuits and chocolate. We chose the room with a living area and a bedroom, the living area transformed into a bedroom at night where the children slept comfortably and I could still see them with the bedroom door open. The aircon was great, and the heating was almost too good haha! Sometimes we didn’t want to leave the room to brave the cold. The view was spectacular, but if you want a view I would advise asking for this when booking to not have an inward facing room. It took around 10 minutes to walk into the centre of New York, and it is around a 2 minute walk from the nearest tube station. There are restaurants, coffee shops and bars all within walking distance. They gym is also modern and spacious. The staff were honestly amazing, they made us feel so welcome and my little boy was sad to leave. They left balloons and cuddly toys in the bedroom with our childrens names on and to see their faces light up when they walked in was a very special moment. Thanks guys! We will be visiting again.

What a disappointment this hotel was. Perhaps they are renovating? The only public space in this hotel was the small lobby. There is no restaurant, no room service, no gym, no nothing. There is a lot of dated worn and somewhat dirty areas in the room though. The room faced a nice brick wall. I must say the air conditioner was perfect. The TV remote was impossible to use. The bathroom was small and not overly sanitary to my liking. There is a small kitchenette area with a small fridge, a coffee maker and microwave. I did not have the use for any of them. I did request two more pillows and a few more towels and that was provided within about 30 minutes. This is a 2 star hotel at best. For the rates they charge, I would have expected a bit more. It amazes me the photos they show on the website. When was that? How many years ago I wonder. Never again.Would not recommend.
