The toilets here would not flush and the hot water in the shower was intermediate at best. Staff was nice ola spoke the most amount of English. The cottage is about a 10 minute walk from the closest ferry port. Pool was smaller than expected but still OK. Close to lots of western touristy food. There is a temple 200 m up the hill from this place that often sometimes plays religious music late into the night. Apparently during holiday season they play at nonstop. Something to consider

The BEST stay in Nusa Penida! The room was clean and had everything we needed for a 5-day stay, the location was convenient (local, delicious Warungs near by, transfer to famous attractions was short-mid length), and Ola was our HERO! She organized our entire stay, from visiting all of Nusas famous beaches to preparing delicious breakfasts and providing transfer, aloe Vera for sunburnt skin & overall such sweet care! We felt so welcomed and taken care of at all times! She even managed to get us discounted tours/private drivers. We would come back here ANY DAY! Loved it so so much! There’s no better place to stay!

Host Ola goes above and beyond to provide you with everything you need. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the pool is awesome. Downside is it is a bit remote, close to some restaurants, 20+ min away from the harbor and boats for tours. Also some noise from all the livestock around. You need a bike to go around, it is not pedestrian friendly, bikes can be arranged with Ola.

Wonderful people , Ola and her family were very nice , from the begining of our stay to our leave they helped us with all our needs , and answered all the quetions we had about Nusa Penida . The rooms are clean and spacious , the pool was clean . If you need ferry tickets or a snorkeling trip or advice on where to eat (the good spots at the food market ) Ola is your person 😉

Incredibly hospitable and efficient hosts run this lovely piece of heaven in Nusa Penida. Tucked away from the main street, it’s set up in a quiet and relaxing location within a short walk from restaurants and the island’s main fast-ferry port. Ola and her family take care of you in every possible way if you need it, from arranging transportation to recommending options on things to do and see based of what you’re really interested in experiencing - super informative and great at communicating, while being totally happy for you to do your thing if you prefer that too. My cottage/bedroom was spacious, clean, comfy and with a private bathroom and balcony; breakfast was freshly made every day and the swimming pool was the cherry on top of the cake. Totally recommend staying there.
