Overall a great stay at the Dana. We were traveling with two adult families and got adjoining rooms with the Lanai patio option. These rooms were nice, clean, and had a great little patio space facing the pool. It was nice to have the option to walk twenty steps from our door and be in the heated pool or hot tub. The restaurant has an outdoor area in a nice setting and the food was decent overall. Not mind blowing, but good and not ridiculously overpriced. Some things to keep in mind though, we were charged an automatic 18% tip for a party of four. And another 5% surcharge that wasn't really explained on the check. Also, the parking is $35 a day. I also don't understand why this charge is quite so high considering the only reason to park near this property is to use the hotel. It is not in an area with a high public parking demand, so I didn't expect a parking charge to begin with, and $35 was insanely high. Regardless, I would stay here again as the room and pool were great.

The rooms are a bit dated; BUT everything else is AMAZING. We had a lanai room the view was gorgeous the location of the property is also gorgeous! The staff are all very friendly. Our toddler enjoyed running around the property sidewalks. Would highly recommend staying at The Dana.

Just got off the phone with Lisa in reservations. I’ve been coming to this hotel for nearly 30 years with my son and I am now coming back with a grandchild. I asked Lisa to look up my past visits and help me select the best room. I just love that customer service & loyalty is still a priority ! Thank you Lisa for making me feel important & cared for.

Was attracted by the nice photos posted online and convenient location close to Sea World. However, the facility is still lacking and can use more improvements. There are no elevators, the AC and heater unit is super noisy, pillows and bed mattresses are not the most comfortable, the TV system is a bit outdated, the list goes on. The heated pool and surrounding landscape is a beautiful highlight, management has done a great job in maintaining the property. For the price, though, you might get more value at another seaside resort, depending on what you prioritize. Note although they have recently advertised eliminating the resort fee, they do charge a $35/day parking fee.
