Nice place. Very vintage feel. Pretty inside. Rooms were well kept. We ended up in the ambassador suite because our room was not held for us after we did not arrive our first night due to travel issues, but we'd already paid up front for three nights. Eventually they gave us the suite as no other rooms were available. Butler who took our suitcases to the room was really nice. Problem was resolved. Nice hotel overall.

This hotel is old but reasonably fancy, and the location is excellent! The staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. Note that there is NOT a mini fridge or microwave in the room, though there is a nice, reasonably priced restaurant downstairs. Because of the hotel's age, there were a few strange quirks with our room. For example, most of the outlets were only a couple of inches above the floor, making it annoying to recharge cell phones. One of our windows didn't close all the way. Because it was only October, this didn't make much difference, but it would have been miserable in the winter.

Absolutely lovely staff and hotel. Very charming historic hotel. Hotel is extremely clean, with updated rooms, and delicate details. The staff is super kind, attentive, helpful, and prompt to reply. This will be my new hotel when I visit DC. I am so impressed with the staff and the hotel that I had to leave a review. While there is no ice machine similar to other hotels, the staff quickly brought a bucket to my room when I called the front desk. I absolutely love the Henley Park hotel and the entire staff. During this visit I wasn’t able to have noon tea, but this is a must for my next visit. Keep up the good work Henley staff, you all have impressed me and I’m pretty hard to impress.

My husband and I stayed at The Henley Park Hotel for three days right before Christmas before we headed south to Va. We found the hotel to be charming, staff friendly, and room accommodations very comfortable, especially the beds/pillows. It’s a great location for walking to all the Smithsonian museums and the daily rate was reasonable compared to other nearby hotels. We found a lovely French bakery (Tattè) nearby and ate breakfast there each morning. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay here one more night before our flight home instead of near the airport. The Henley Park will be our “go to” hotel anytime we visit D.C.

Overall place looked okay in some areas, room thermostat didn’t work, and room was really really cold and drafty with no real blanket on the bed this time of the year (Late November) which was disappointing. Some staff were nice and professional others not so professional (cussing/trash talk) out-loud don’t pay much attention to you unless you tip them. Breakfast menu was a let down, no real other options for non-pork options, seasonal fruit was just 2 types of melons cut up that were slimy and gross. No fridge or anything in the room and the coffee machine leaked water all over during usage..
