We stayed for Christmas and it was lovely. The rooms were huge, clean, and housekeeping did a great job. It was not as noisy as I thought it would be, however noisy compared to home lol The location was perfect for easy access to everything, next time I'd stay farther away from the busyness but all in all the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend

My wife and I stayed here over a weekend but I'm not sure I would stay again. Pros: * The location is perfect. It's in midtown a short walk from Broadway to the south and Central Park to the north. * The rooms are the most spacious of any place I've stayed in NYC by far, and there are plenty of food and drink options in the hotel as well as nearby. * The shower even had great water pressure. Cons: * I saw in other reviews there's a lounge with snacks and drinks, but I wasn't told about it so I didn't go. I wasn't even sure where the hotel coffee was, so I walked across the street to Starbucks each morning. * The heat in the room is controlled seasonally so I couldn't turn the AC on. It was probably 72 or warmer in our room even though it was set to 65, and I couldn't sleep without the window open which let in the constant siren sounds and honking. My watch says I got 3 hours of sleep Saturday. * The elevators are a little annoying. Only a few go up to those floors, so you often wait several minutes for them. NY natives are used to this.

The most lavish and spacious hotel I've stayed at in NYC. Convenient to everything. Next to subway. Very expensive during this time but I will stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

Every time I have traveled to New York, for work or pleasure, the Hilton, midtown, exceeded my hopes for a wonderful experience. I have to stress that it is the people that create that atmosphere. From our concierges, to housekeeping and everyone in every department, the staff is kind, friendly, and professional. Bravo from this theater teacher from Boston. I am giving you a standing ovation.
