The hotel was a good location for the activities and access to the sights of New York. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are small in comparison to what you might expect. We booked 2 twin rooms and got 2 doubles. They were great at helping fix the issue (albeit the next day). The staff were really helpful and the maids working on the room cleaning were lovely. It didn't exceed my expectations but didn't let me down. We were staying in the centre of New York at a cheap price. (Although I struggle to understand this new room tax thing that is applied now, so that hit me when I got there).

Honestly we had a great stay and we were definitely worried due to the reviews. The staff were overly helpful and kind, everything was clean. Great area to stay in and free coffee and water downstairs! The only thing was our air conditioner didn’t work and then when they came to put in a new unit, it didn’t really work either so hopefully they give attention to that. Other than that we had no issues!

Firstly, this place is very good quality for New York. The service here is very friendly, the staff at the desk are always smiling and so are the housekeeping staff. The service is 10/10. For the room, it was the biggest we’ve had in New York, very clean, comfortable with a tv (needs hdmi to connect to laptop, not smart tv). Bathroom was fine too. I would recommend it. There wasn’t any noise from the street which was great. My only issue with the place was the WiFi connection, it was very poor. It could have been bad as we were on the 12th floor but I’m not sure. If that is fixed then this would be a great hotel choice. FYI we stayed for 16 nights so this is a very fair objective review.

this hotel had its pros ands cons we stayed in the family room which had 2 queens with a sofa bed we found the sofa bed to be very uncomfortable and the sheets were very dirty and had stains, overall they need to clean the rooms and this room needs a renovation and even the comforter had makeup and black stains. other than the beds the staff were very nice and helpful and the location is very good with the empire state buliding being right next to you .
