Absolutely gorgeous 😍🙌🏽Everything just looks like lush. Enjoyed my spa treatment, even though I felt robbed with the foot treatment, a complete waste of money. I also had no idea that the 1 hour pass includes eating time 😐I got into the pool for 4 minutes and was told I exceeded my time limit. It is a very rude remark, to tell a customer about time when they have spent over R1500. Did not appreciate that at all. The spa is good though, I would definitely go back

Certainly not a 5 star hotel, should be rated as 3 star. The rooms are nice however the bed was not great, we both have sore backs and the sheets are like paper. The dinner was good, however the breakfast was terrible(coffee was great). We had an opulence couples treatment which was generally good. In general the staffs attitude is pretty bad they just don’t seem to care about basic service levels.

My visit was a day visit so I didn't get a chance to view the rooms. But the friendly staff, the environment and ambiance. The food. Every thing was great. It is absolutely beautiful. You just want to stay there

Do not stay here if your expectation is a 5 star hotel, this is 3 star at very best. We were excited to stay at the Houghton due to all the high reviews. Unfortunately we experienced two nights of no working A/C, a dirty hotel, and rude employees. This is not luxury in any sense of the word, do not stay here. I got a gel manicure comparable to US prices and I literally had to guide the nail tech on how to properly paint, still ended up messy. Will not return.
