Friendly and professional service. He came promptly even for a non urgent job. He fixed the lock rather replacing it. We felt we could fully trust him. We highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again if needed.

We were having issues with the locking mechanism of our ageing upvc back door. Called AWS Thistle as they are local to us in the Bridge of Don. The chap who arrived was very professional and carried out a thorough inspection of the look and actual door. He gave his honest opinion which was due to the age of the door and the inherent issues with the mechanism in this type of door, and the fact that the door wasn’t hanging properly and was slightly warped he’d advise that instead of wasting money on a new barrel we look to replace the door. There was no charge for his visit, within a couple of hours of me calling, and as he said he didn’t do door replacement only locks it was obvious that he/the company had nothing to gain from a new door being required. I’d definitely recommend AWS as you can guarantee they will give honest impartial advice and won’t just carry out work to get you dipping into your wallet. Well impressed.
