My favorite hotel in Manhattan! Over and above hospitality from the staff, which has been so rare in recent years. My room had features that I deeply appreciated : all of the lights dim, full bath / shower with plenty of hooks and counter space, fantastic water pressure, tile and other design elements that make it feel like home instead of a hotel. The bed has built in shelving instead of nightstands, which saves a ton of space. Very comfortable work space. I appreciated the free breakfast - simple and all you need. I also really appreciate being in Chelsea and easily walkable to healthy food and restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

We were spending 30 hours in Manhattan and debating where to stay. At the last minute we decided on The Maritime Hotel and were happy we did. We enjoyed the clean, quiet rooms and nice hotel staff. The hotel is walking distance to everything fun without being in the NYC madness. Nearby is the high line, Chelsea Market, and Starbucks Reserve where we spent most of the afternoon. The room was small but the space was well apportioned, the bathroom was updated, felt homey with nice toiletries and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could want. The lobby was quiet and great for recharging. There’s even a halal cart right outside for your late night cravings.

This was the perfect hotel to experience it all. It was centerplace among everything we wanted to do. Service was good. Beds were so comfortable and the staff was so nice. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. I was hoping for something warm to eat, but no. Boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, juice, yogurt or fruit about sums it up.
