This is a neat little hotel. The rooms are nice, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. Just minutes from the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Definitely would stay here again.

I wish I could give 6 stars to this place. Let me start with the absolutely amazing staff, who welcomed me and were accommodating of my needs throughout my stay. They constantly wanted to make sure I had everything I needed and were super kind. Names: Shidokht, Berat and Kurban. Thank you guys! Then the other highlights: the location is super convenient, walking distance from the main attractions in Istanbul. Breakfast with good variety (even for me as a vegetarian) and DELICIOUS food. I couldn't stop eating. The room was also very modern and clean. Way more than any of the other hotels I stayed in Turkey during my trip (which included a 5* hotel). Omiya is excellent value for money. It was my second time in the city, I'm sure to stay at the Omiya Hotel once again when I return. Hopefully the team will still be around, they made a difference.

We stayed at the Omiya hotel for two weeks. The location is perfect, walking distance to so many sights. The rooms are not tiny, and most importantly clean!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much Shidokht, Berat and Kurban!! We always felt welcomed! Breakfasts are filling and delicious, and the dishes change every couple days or so. Tea and coffee are always available when you feel like having a cuppa. It might seem busy and noisy when you arrive as there are many shops, workshops and a mosque near the hotel, but the soundproofing is great, couldn't hear a thing as soon as we closed the windows. The place is highly recommended and we will definitely stay at Omiya if we ever travel to Istanbul again.
